He Is Risen

He is risen, He is risen, No more He's in a tomb,
He is risen, He is risen,
In my heart I've prepared for Him room.

He is risen, He is risen, death I fear no more.
He is risen, He is risen,
I'll see Him when I cross that golden shore.
He is risen, He is risen,
Is what Mary Magdalene proclaimed,

He is risen, He is risen,
Life would never be the same,
When on that first Easter morn
At the first break of light,
To see He was risen
Must have been a glorious sight,

Why do you seek the living among the dead
The angel asked the three,
Go tell His disciples
That soon their Savior they shall see,
The disciples were in hiding,
Peter, John and even Thomas,

They knew that Jesus would return,
To them He gave His promise,
Your sins may make you feel
Like you're in a deep, dark Prison,
Just proclaim to man that you Jesus isn't dead
But that He is risen.
